GlobeCaster 3.2 Software

WARNING: The new Low Level Format in the Time Machine Format utility is NOT intended for general use. Low level formats of SCSI drives normally takes HOURS to complete. Only use the Low Level Format option if you need to make sure all data is erased for security reasons or to try and revive a failing hard drive.

This new software version is the next step forward in the continuing development of the GlobeCaster platform. Most of the new features and enhancements are the results of direct input from GlobeCaster users. The list below is a highlight of the main features of this new release.

This release will only function on a GlobeCaster or an upgraded Trinity.

Note:Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional support only. Windows NT is no longer supported.

Note:The legacy Graham Patton audio module is also no longer supported.

Note: This version REQUIRES a 1 MB Static RAM module on the Coordinator Card. If the GlobeCaster has a Time Machine or a DV/IO card, this memory module has been installed. This new version of software will not function without this memory update. Click here to check your Coordinator Card's memory

This is a full installation of the GlobeCaster software. If you require CD media for GlobeCaster 3.2, there is a $9.95 shipping and handling charge. The CD media contains both the software and content along with the documentation. Please contact GlobalStreams Technical Support via email at A credit card will be required. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery via post. If you need the media faster, an additional shipping charge will be applied.

• GlobeCaster CS-100 for Software 3.2
  To download, right-click and choose "Save Link As..." NOTE: You must be running version 3.2 Software for this version of the CS-100 software to function. Also view the Macro Manager Guide.

• GlobeCaster CS-1000 for Software 3.2
  To download, right-click and choose "Save Link As..." NOTE: You must be running version 3.2 Software for this version of the CS-1000 software to function.

• AP-100 Software
  You must be running version 3.2 Software for the AP-100 software to function. This software is only available for download to customers who have purchased the AP-100 Software from Globalstreams. The documentation can be found here.

• SoftVGA for 3.2 Software
  GlobeCaster SoftVGA is a utility application that, when used in conjunction with the VNCViewer application, allows the user to capture the screen display from a remote computer and show it as a GlobeCaster DSK effect or as an 8th input.
